BBQ Turkey Burger

This flavorful BBQ turkey burger recipe is a leaner alternative to the standard ground beef picnic burger. |

ground turkey |
|
1/2 cup |
|
onion chopped |
|
1/2 cup |
|
BBQ sauce |
|
1/2 cup |
|
dried whole wheat bread crumbs |

1/2 tsp |
|
salt |
|
1/4 tsp |
|
black pepper |

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly and shape into 6 patties. |

Place on an oiled grill and grill over medium heat for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. and the burger is no longer pink in the center. |

Baste with additional BBQ sauce if desired. |
