Broiled Tempeh Recipe
Broiled Tempeh

This tempeh recipe is quick to fix and the ginger, garlic, and parsley adds to it's exotic flavor. |

1/3 package |
|
tempeh |
|
2 large |
|
mushrooms, chopped |
|
2 cloves |
|
garlic, chopped |
|
1 tsp |
|
soy sauce |
|
4 Tbs |
|
water |
|
2 tsp |
|
fresh parsley, chopped |
|
|

no-fat cooking spray |
|
|

Steam tempeh until it is warmed. |

Spray a pyrex pie plate with no-fat cooking spray. |

Mix one tablespoon of soy sauce with 3 tablespoons of water. |

Put 1 tablespoon of diluted soy mixture on the bottom of the pyrex plate. |

Cut tempeh into small bite size pieces and put in pie plate. |

Add chopped mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. |

Sprinkle remaining 3 tablespoons of diluted soy mixture on top. |

Sprinkle with chopped parsley. |

Broil 6" from heat source for approximately 8-10 minutes or until eh soy is bubbling and the tempeh is browned. |
